The Journey of a Beginning Farmer :: As a child I spent most of my life in town living with my mom, but whenever I visited my Dad and his side of the family it was on the farm. From my earliest memories I have always wanted to be a farmer (except when I wanted to be a cowboy). Now, I am trying to fulfill that dream. This will be a journal of that journey :: my research, my joys, my frustrations, and all of the things that go along with the beginning farmer.

8th Anniversary...
Today, June 9th, is our 8th wedding anniversary. I don't think that either of us would have imagined eight years ago that this farm would be the place where we ended up. But, I know that the support and love that my wife has shared with me over the last eight years and the help and encouragement she gives me is what has allowed us to make this step in our life. So, today I'm off to spend some time with the family and enjoy my wife of eight years!

ReplyDeleteI have about double your number of years in married life. Contrary to what some pundits like to say, it only gets better in my view. I can't imagine not being married to my wife. I'm sure that's the case for you as well.
